Tips for attending:

  • After a presentation by the poet, there will be time for Q&A.  We encourage you to come up with a question to ask about their poem, writing process, or life as an poet!  You will be able to type this in the chat box or unmute and ask.
  • We ask that participants stay muted for the majority of the program so that everyone can hear the presentation, however we welcome you to keep your camera on so that our poets can see the participants.
  • It is helpful if you can change your Zoom display name to the first name(s) of those attending, to help us better interact with you.  To do this once you are in the Zoom session, click/tap on "Participants," find your name in the list, and click/tap on rename.

Please note: The library’s patron conduct policy applies to virtual library programs. Library staff has the right to remove participants from virtual programs who are in violation of the patron conduct policy.
