Hemingway: The Man, The Myth, The Writer Revealed

In conjunction with the PBS release of Ken Burn's documentary  HemingwayThe Man, The Myth, The Writer Revealed on April 5 - April 7, the library will host an interactive virtual program to discuss the documentary and Hemingway's works.  Participants are encouraged to view the film and read a work by Hemingway.

Professor Lynne Rogers will moderate the discussion.

Lynne Rogers holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Connecticut.  A former Fulbright Senior Scholar, she has published numerous articles on the contemporary novel and is a regular film and prose reviewer for al-jadid, a Review of Arab Arts and Culture.  She currently teaches literature at the Avery Point campus of University of Connecticut where she has received several awards recognizing her teaching and research.
