Zoom Chess Class: Tactics

Thursday May 6, 2021
6:30 PM until 7:30 PM

Ready to take your chess game to the next level? If you're familiar with the basics - or you've just binged The Queen's Gambit and you're curious -  join us for this free class with chess instructor Glenn Davison all about tactics.

This class gives students an introduction to chess tactics that are immediately useful in winning. They form a way to get ahead of your opponent in material, surprise your opponent, and understand the game better. Students should already be familiar with how the pieces move. Topics covered include forks, skewers, pins, trap and more.

This is an all-ages program presented on Zoom. Registration is required. You will be emailed the Zoom link. No physical chess set is needed to participate.
