WISE: Wellness Initiative for Senior Education

Increase your knowledge regarding how bodies age, how the aging process affects the ability to metabolize alcohol and medications, and how to recognize the early signs and symptoms of depression.
WISE participants will learn information which may improve health behaviors related to lifestyle choices, health care empowerment, and modify use of participation and over-the-counter-medications.
Join us for an enlightening program offering six virtual lessons that cover a wide range of topics.
This free program will occur via Zoom on the following Tuesdays at 10:30 am:
- April 27 – Lesson Two: Aging Sensitivity
- May 4 – Lesson Three: Valuing Cultural and Generational Diversity
- May 18 – Lesson Four: Medication and the Older Adult
- June 1 – Lesson Five: Substance Misuse, Addiction, and Older Adults
- June 15 – Lesson Six: An Enhanced Quality of Life
These sessions will be conducted on Zoom and are free of charge. Registration and internet access are required to attend; each date has its own individual registration.
