Write Hard (or Go Home): Writing Tips and Tricks for Adults - A Virtual ProgramTuesday November 17, 2020
6:30 PM until 8:00 PM
Celebrate NaNoWriMo - aka National Novel Writing Month - with Rutgers University Creative Writing Professor (and lifelong motorcyclist) Alex Dawson, as he shares fifteen riding/writing rules that will change (and maybe save) your writing life. This workshop will be followed by a discussion and a short reading from his forthcoming memoir, Room to Swing an Axe.
Alex Dawson, full-time Rutgers University professor and forty year motorcyclist, teaches creative writing and curates/hosts "Inside the Writers House," a weekly video chat with authors from all over the world. He helms a fantasy fiction winter workshop/retreat in Ireland and Scotland with authors Dave Rudden (12 Angels Weeping) and Lev Grossman (The Magicians), and his forthcoming memoir, Room to Swing an Axe, and his novel, Welcome to White Hart, are due out this year.
Session will be conducted on Webex. Registration and internet access are required to attend. Register below to receive emailed information on how to access the workshop.
