Learn all about the exciting, worldwide outdoor treasure hunting activity of Geocaching! This virtual take-it-with-you presentation covers the history of Geocaching, basic rules of the activity, different types of geocaches and insider tips for hiding and seeking geocaches. Geocachers use GPS tracking (usually through the free Geocaching smartphone app) to search for small containers called geocaches, which are hidden at specific coordinates all over the world (including a special cache hidden at Monmouth County Library Headquarters!). After watching this presentation, you will have all the information you need to start your own Geocaching adventure!
