The Deficit Myth: Modern Monetary Theory and the Birth of the People's Economy, by Stephanie Kelton
Stephanie Kelton is a professor of economics and public policy at Stony Brook University, and is considered "the leading thinker, and most visible public advocate of modern monetary theory — the freshest and most important idea about economics in decades — delivers a radically different, bold, new understanding for how to build a just and prosperous society." - from the publisher.
With the weather getting nicer we've decided to meet outside at the library for our book discussions.
You'll need: the book and a camp chair, and we recommend some water and sunscreen (and maybe your chair has a cover or an umbrella to keep the sun off).
Masks will be optional, as we will be outside, and we will keep our chairs at least 6 feet apart.
