Join the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for a musical reading of Giles Andreae’s classic children’s book Giraffes Can’t Dance. The delightful tale of Gerald the Giraffe will be brought to life with performances by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra of each of the dances Gerald encounters on his journey to find his song. Teaching artist Kerra Alexander from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will narrate and demonstrate dance moves. Join us to listen, dance, and move along! Available online June 30, 2021; free with registration.
