Join us for our Cooking Club here at Sawyer Free Library! Each month we'll pick a cookbook, order copies for everyone to checkout at the Main Desk, everyone chooses a recipe, makes and brings it in.
This month, we will be cooking something from our own heritage--it could be a beloved recipe from your grandmother, perhaps a recipe handed down generation to generation, or something you've always wanted to make! There will be multi-heritage/around-the-world cookbooks available for check out at the Main Desk--or make one your own from memory!
***We ask that when you choose a recipe that you email firstname.lastname@example.org so everyone knows and makes a different recipe.***
Come prepared with your appetite! We'll discuss the different recipes, pros and cons of the cookbooks, what worked or didn't in the preparation, cooking, and transporting, etc.
