A Living Person's Guide to Dying: In-Utero Loss & Grief w/ Allison Kitson

Tuesday November 12, 2019
7:00 PM until 8:30 PM

In conjunction with NIH and NLM, Sharon Public Library presents A Living Person's Guide to Dying, a multi-part speaker series about death and dying, green burials, digital estate planning, and more. Although death is an inevitable reality of life, we often delay conversations about the topic until after the fact--a habit that can create unnecessary stress or confusion about our end-of-life wishes. The Library is seeking to launch an honest, open series of discussions around this important topic.

Tonight, join Allison Kitson, LICSW, BCBA, for a presentation about in-utero loss and grieving. The presentation will focus on the impact of perinatal loss on families and implications for parenting and pregnancy after loss. There will also be information provided about resources available for families who have experienced loss. In addition, there will be time allotted for small group and individual conversations surrounding this topic following the presentation.
