The Living Person's Guide to Dying presents: Obituary Writing w/ Kate Klise

Friday December 6, 2019
11:00 AM until 12:30 PM

In conjunction with NIH and NLM, Sharon Public Library presents A Living Person's Guide to Dying, a multi-part speaker series about death and dying, green burials, digital estate planning, and more. Although death is an inevitable reality of life, we often delay conversations about the topic until after the fact--a habit that can create unnecessary stress or confusion about our end-of-life wishes. The Library is seeking to launch an honest, open series of discussions around this important topic.

Today, join Kate Klise, author, for a presentation on obituary writing: how to select the memorable moments of your life and shape them into a lasting legacy that represents who you really are.

"Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it." --Haruki Murakami
