EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Virtual Scratch Coding, Grades 3-5

Wednesday December 9, 2020
4:00 PM until 5:00 PM

Are you/is your child entering 3rd-5th grade this fall and would like to learn how to code? We are offering free Scratch classes to any 3rd-5th grader. Classes will take place weekly at 4-5 pm on Wednesdays via Zoom. Classes start on September 23rd, ending on December 16th. They will be fast-paced and very hands-on yet are easy for beginners to understand. At the end of the session, we will make final projects that will challenge you in your problem-solving skills. Once you have finished this course, you will be able to create games and animations in Scratch using important concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, and functions. Hope to see you there! This class will be taught by the volunteers who ran Girls Who Code last year. This class is open to children of all genders.
