Kids MAKE History! Kids Make a Historic STEAM ToySaturday January 16, 2021
11:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Children ages 6 - 12 and their families will experience history through hands-on projects designed to bring the past alive.
In a series of four separate, virtual events held via Zoom, kids will be making ink, a historic STEAM toy, marbled paper and butter.
Some supplies will be provided by Seekonk Library and will be available for registrants to pick-up during the week prior to the program.
Register separately for one or all four programs. Zoom invite and link will be sent one hour before the start time of the program.

Saturday, January 16: Make a Historic STEAM Toy Register
Library provides heavy paper, 6" template, straw
Families provide something to color with, scissors, glue stick, tape
Saturday, January 23: Make Marbled Paper Register
Library provides shaving foam, heavy paper.
Families provide food coloring, straightedge tool for scraping, shallow pan with sides, toothpicks or comb to swirl colors, large bowl or lined trash can
Saturday, January 30: Make Butter Register
Library provides jar
Families provide heavy cream, optional add ins like salt, honey, cinnamon, herbs (or??? get creative)
Register starting December 5 for one or all four programs and together, we’ll 'make' history!
