EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Graphic Novel for Tweens

Thursday October 7, 2021
3:30 PM until 4:30 PM

Sign up for this fun book club for middle school aged youth led by Youth Programmer, Tara Pockets Foley. We will read 5 graphic novels, get together every first Thursday of the month to talk about them, and then.....we will make our own! This book club welcomes all levels, you don't need to be a great artist or a great writer to be in this club, we will just try our best and have fun! Every month a different graphic novel will be voted on to read (by you!) from a list of popular titles. Also every month, we will chose our favorite scene (page) from the graphic novel we are reading and copy the page with our own drawing style, redesigning the characters to be whomever we want! This monthly drawing activity will be the practice we need to make our own graphic novels.  There are 10 spaces available.
