Monday October 15, 2018
11:00 AM until 12:00 PM

Rev. Eric Detar will use material produced by the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) to give participants the opportunity to explore what interfaith is and to participate in interfaith engagement.

Rev. Detar is the chaplain at Keuka College, a position he began in August of 2009.  For the past two years , he has led a intentional interfaith exploration on the college campus by partnering with the IFYC to explore with campus stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, administration, and trustees, to see how spirituality can become more cultural again on the college campus.  Eric is an ordained elder (1999) within the United Methodist Church and is appointed to serve at Keuka College by his Bishop of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He has published several books of poetry  and criticism, and has had his work appear in periodicals and reference works in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.

Come explore a tapestry of rich topics with deeply spiritual threads.  Everyone in invited to attend one or many sessions.  The Classics in Religion program is sponsored by Cobblestone Springs, www.cobblestone-springs.org.
