The Backyard OrchardTuesday April 26, 2022
6:30 PM until 7:30 PM
Join Storrs Library for a presentation on growing your own orchard with Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens. Growing tree fruit can be challenging, but with a few hints and the right techniques you'll have enough apples, pears, and everything else for the entire neighborhood! This program is sponsored by Friends of Storrs Library.
The mission at Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens is to inspire others to grow their own fresh produce. They deliver residential and community based training, consulting, and assistance in vegetable garden development. They are dedicated to the belief that most people should have the knowledge and opportunity to grow wholesome fruits and veggies in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens.
We will be using Zoom for this presentation. You will need a computer, smartphone, iPad, or similar device that has a camera and audio ability. New to Zoom?
