Books on TapThursday February 27, 2020
6:00 PM until 7:00 PM
Adults 21+ are welcome to meet up for a non-traditional book discussion over a pint of Glastonbury beer at Hops on the Hill. No purchase is required to take part in the book club, but participants are responsible for buying their own drinks with a valid photo ID. Feel free to bring your own snacks. Registration not required.
Limited copies of the current selection will be available at the Reference Desk. This month, we're reading Gwendy's Button Box by Stephen King.
"It’s 1974 when 12-year-old Gwendy Peterson is offered a magic box by a man named Richard Farris, whom she meets at the top of one of the cliffside Suicide Stairs in Castle Rock, Maine. Farris wears a “small neat black hat” and seems to know just who Gwendy is and what she wants."
Hops on the Hill is located at 275 Dug Rd, South Glastonbury, CT. Click here to visit their website. Click here for map and directions.
