For four- and five-year-olds
During this 45-minute program, preschoolers will enjoy longer, more detailed stories. The books selected will feature at least one of the six early literacy skills: print awareness, vocabulary, print motivation, narratives skills, letter knowledge and phonological awareness. After the story, kids will enjoy a related STEAM activity introducing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math concepts. Preregistration required for this six-week session is January 9-14 for Glastonbury residents; January 17 for nonresidents.
