Want to try an instrument that is fun and easy to play? Join Julie Stepanek as she demonstrates the fundamentals of ukulele playing. You'll learn how to tune, strum and read chords. After a short lesson, you’ll be playing the ukulele! No experience necessary.
Please note this is the first class in a two-part series. It is recommended that you attend both classes. Part 2 will be held on Thursday, March 18.

If you need to borrow a ukulele, instruments will be available for checkout from the library beginning Thursday, March 4. The teen librarian will email you to arrange a pickup day and time. You must have a valid library card to check out an instrument. Instruments must be returned to the library at the conclusion of the series.

Registration begins February 11, online or by calling Reference at 860-652-7720. When you register for Part 1, you will automatically be enrolled in Part 2. Registration with a valid email address is required to receive login information on the day of the Zoom meeting.
