Celebrate the Welles-Turner Memorial Library Grand Reopening with a day full of fun for all ages! Check out the fresh spaces and enjoy crafts, musicians, performers, refreshments, and more!
The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony, a performance by the Glastonbury String Quartet, and refreshments. Children and families can then enjoy an exciting show by Danny Magic. Teens can participate in custom water bottle painting with Pam’s Picassos in the afternoon. Then, close out the day with a performance from the band Cover2Cover, who specialize in high-energy dance music from the 1960s-80s. Drop-in activities for kids (and visits with Elephant and Piggie!) will also be available all day long.
