Let Freedom Sing! Historical Society of Mount Lebanon Bus Trip

Celebrate Martin Luther King Day this year with the Historical Society of Mount Lebanon and the Mt. Lebanon Public Library on a planned bus trip to the Let Freedom Sing! concert at Pittsburgh's  Ebenezer Baptist Church. Several area choirs will join forces to celebrate the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with the goal of blurring the geographic, demographic, and economic lines separating urban and suburban Pittsburgh. Mount Lebanon Historical Society's Program Director and Winchester Thurston School's History and Social Studies Department Chair, Michael Naragon and Mt. Lebanon High School Social Studies and History teacher, Pete DiNardo will provide a brief talk on the bus. As space is limited registration is required. The cost of the trip is $27 per person and is required at the time of registration. You must register in the library at the front desk for this event. The cost of the event covers transportation to and from the event. There is no admission fee for the concert but donations will be collected to support the Food Bank of Greater Pittsburgh.
