Friends of the Library Virtual Beer Tasting

The Friends will be sponsoring a Virtual Beer Tasting Event with Scott Smith of East End Brewing Aug. 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friends member, Library beer events organizer, and Wall Street Journal reporter Bob Hagerty will be chatting and tasting along with Scott. He will share elements from his “Neighborhood Beer” series and other stories about his experience as a brewer and creating the brewery’s beers. Interspersed throughout the talk will be a fair amount of beer tasting and plenty of time for you to ask questions or comments.  

Scott will create a special Mt Lebanon Public Library beer tasting case that will be available for purchase ($75) at East End Brewing beginning the first week in August (pickup and free delivery options will be available). The case will 16 ounce four packs of ...
1) Esplen (Helles Lager 5.4%)
2) Hays (Rauchbier 5.5%)
3) Caution Slippy (New England Double IPA 8.2%)
4) Windgap (Mango/Pineapple Milkshake IPA 7.3%)
5) Bon Air (Blackberry Lemon Gose 4.4%).
Plus two free can glasses!

This is a perfect event to share with a friend(s) in your living room or outside on the deck or patio.  

You must register for this Zoom event in advance. A Zoom invitation will be sent to your email address the day of the event. Although registration is free, a donations would be greatly appreciated to help us support the essential library programs and spe-cial needs of the library. The Friends needs your support more than ever now that our revenues have been signifi-cantly impacted by COVID-19.
