Paper cutting artist Kathryn Carr will introduce you to the art and process she uses to create silhouettes and Scherenschnitte. She will discuss the basic history of paper cutting and how it spread throughout different cultures and will show examples of these various styles. She will also discuss her background and how she got started with paper cutting and the different ways she has used it in her art. Album covers, greeting cards, original art, children’s books…
