Learn how to build a gaming computer that will play the most popular games on the market! Watch a demonstration, then learn about components and how they work based on the games you want to play.
This two-hour How to Build a Gaming PC workshop will cover the basic hardware components and how they work, what kinds of games you want to play, and estimating how much to budget. There are also hands-on activities and demonstrations of how the hardware components fit together and work to provide the computing power needed to play highly demanding video games. Although this is a Children's program, each child must be at least 10 years old and be accompanied by an adult for the entire 2-hour workshop (this is intended to be a learning experience for the child and parent/guardian).
Registration is limited to 8 pairs (child + adult), please let us know if you plan to bring more than one child.
No prior experience required. All equipment is provided by instructor for the demonstration.
