“Red Flags for Seniors: Avoiding Scams,” a presentation by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office
Older adults in Allegheny County have become targets for a growing number of scams and other types of abuse. Join Cyndie Carioli, the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Senior Justice Advocate, to learn how to better protect yourself from scams and fraud. You will hear about some of the latest scams targeting area seniors, simple steps you can take to keep yourself safe, and what resources are available if you’re concerned that you might have been a target. Information will be shared about what’s happening behind the scenes here in Allegheny County and across the state to address these issues, and practical strategies that we ALL can use will be discussed.
