Museum Passes

Museum passes are available for Minuteman Library Network cardholders in good standing. 

Most museums require a pass or ticket as well as a reserved time slot at the museum. Please check museum websites for additional information. 

Please book only one date per month at each museum.

The Boston Harbor Islands, Children's Museum, Discovery Museum, ICA, Isabella Stewart Gardner, Peabody Essex Museum, MFA, Museum of Science, and the Aquarium passes

are available as e-tickets and are sent to the email address on the booking card.

The deCordova/Trustees, Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, and the Zoos are paper passes.  Pick these passes up at the library before your visit.

The Parks pass is a dashboard display and must be checked out and returned to the library.

The JFK Library and Museum no longer requires a pass.  Simply show your library card at the door to receive a 50% discount.

Pass grants 2 free tickets for open Trustees properties, including the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.  Please use the "Go Pass" ticket option on the Trustees website to get your free reservation. You will need the library pass and your online tickets to enter the deCordova properties. 

The Trustees parks do not require advance reservations, just show the library pass on entry.

This pass admits 3 visitors at 1/2 price admission per person; any additional visitors must pay the regular admission price.

Once purchased, tickets may be printed at home, or picked up at the Ferry Center at Long Wharf North in downtown Boston.  Ferries are boarded at Long Wharf North.

   

Pass grants 2 free tickets for open Trustees properties, including the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.  Please use the "Go Pass" ticket option on the Trustees website to get your free reservation. You will need the library pass and your online tickets to enter the deCordova properties. 

The Trustees parks do not require advance reservations, just show the library pass on entry.

This pass is NOT a reservation. You must reserve a ticket for a specific day and timeblock prior to coming to the Museum campus. Tickets can be reserved on the Discovery Museum's website (https://www.discoveryacton.org/) or by phone (978-264-4200). No on-site ticket reservations will be available. Your tickets are only valid for the date and time you reserve. No payment will be collected online, you will pay when you arrive. Present this pass to Admissions staff when checking in and the discount will be applied to the cost of your visit.

   

The Museum is open for timed tickets only.  Your promo code will be in the confirmation email.  You will need to show that email (on your phone or printed out) and your pass reservation at the museum.  The pass gets up to four adults in at a reduced price of $5 each.

      Multiple Destinations

The Museum is open Wednesday-Monday.  This pass may be used on any open day. 

Advance tickets are encouraged, but may also be purchased when you arrive at the museum.  Please use the code provided in your confirmation email to reserve your tickets at https://www.mfa.org/tickets.  Enter the code and refresh the page, then choose the "library pass" ticket that will appear in the list.  Each pass now allows admission for 2 adults at $10 each (general admission and special exhibition) and up to 4 children ages 7–17 at $10 each (special exhibition only). There is no discount for children 7–17 for general admission, currently $10. Children 6 and under are admitted free.
