ZOOM Passes from Buncombe County Public Libraries

You must pick up a paper ZOOM pass at your local library. Email or text confirmations will not be accepted.

Use your library card to reserve a pass.

Passes may be picked up up to one week before your visit and they are good for one day only.

One ZOOM pass = one 30 minute Paddleboat ride
ZOOM pass must be presented to the Ranger Office at 37 Lake Julian Rd, Arden, NC 28704 to rent a Paddleboat
Minimum passenger age is 2 years old
Minimum age to rent a paddleboat is 16 years old and the paddleboat must have at least one person 16 years of age or older on board
Rentals start at 8am and end 2 hours before park closing time
Paddleboats will not be rented in the event of thunder, lightning, or wind speeds exceeding 10mph as recorded by weather equipment in the Ranger Office.
Paddleboat capacity is four adults. Total capacity can vary, such as two adults and three small children (over the age of 2).
All paddleboat occupants must take a lifejacket with them while on the paddleboat regardless of age. Individuals 13 years old and under must be wearing the lifejacket while on the paddleboat.

One ZOOM pass = 30 mins of hot laps in a standard rig (race simulator) for up to 4 people.
Each pass user MUST make a reservation for their visit at https://thetrackavl.com/book/ using guest code ZOOMPASS.
You will need two things for your visit – a timed reservation booked at The Track and a ZOOM pass for the same day. You are responsible for booking your timed reservation and you will need to bring your ZOOM pass to The Track to use your reservation.
Minimum age is 8 years old.
ZOOM passes are available for use Sunday thru Thursday and you must book your reservation on The Track website to be sure your seats are reserved.

All launching must occur at the main access of Lake Julian Park off of Long Shoals Road.
Members of the public are not permitted to run gas powered engines on the lake.
Personal Watercraft launches begin at 8am and all watercraft MUST be off the water one hour before the park closes.

This pass is for 2 adults (age 14 and up) and 4 children (ages 6 - 13)
This pass is valid anytime during open hours, Monday through Thursday
Passes for this venue are not available on weekends (including Friday)
This pass covers admission to the cafe only
This pass may be reserved one time per month.
Pass is valid only for the date of reservation.
