Each pass admits one person for a self-guided tour of the American Museum of Western Art. No children under 8 years old admitted. There is no photography allowed inside the museum. AMWA is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Last entry is at 4 pm.

Butterfly Pavilion is closed on the fourth Thursday of November (Thanksgiving Day) and December 25th (Christmas Day). Closed early on December 24th (Christmas Eve) with last entrance at 12:00 pm, closing at 1 pm, and on December 31st (New Year’s Eve) with last entrance at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm. Open late on January 1st (New Years Day) with first entrance at 11 am.

Butterfly Pavilion has launched Sensory Friendly Afternoons. The dates are as follows for 2023: April 27th, May 24th, June 28th (no early closure), July 26th (no early closure), August 30th, September 27th, October 25th, November 29th, & December 27th. The event will be held from 3:00pm-5:00pm, causing our general admission to close at 3:00pm with last admission at 2:15 pm on these dates (except where noted). Please contact Butterfly Pavilion if you have any questions about this program or how it might impact your reservation.

Butterfly Pavilion will be closing early on Saturday, Dec 9 at 4:00 pm with last admission at 3:15 pm.

Housed in Historic Station No. 1, the Denver Firefighters Museum tells the story of the Denver Fire Department. The self-guided tour weaves the city's past with the history of firefighting in creative displays and hands-on activities that are entertaining and educational for visitors of all ages.

The Museum encourages the purchase of separate Gates Planetarium, Infinity Theater or Temporary Exhibition tickets in advance. Please call 303.370.6306 to make reservations. Members receive discounted Infinity Theater tickets through May 31, 2023.
