Museum Passes
  • The Georgetown Peabody Library is proud to offer museum passes offering discounted and free admission to institutions across the area thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library. Passes are available to anyone with a Massachusetts library card.
  • To reserve a museum pass, browse through our available passes below and click on “request pass" to begin reserving a pass for that day. Follow the instructions to input your library card number. Instructions on using each pass will be emailed to you upon reservation.
  • Some passes are physical passes that require visiting the library to pickup; others are digital, and will be sent directly to your email. Please note, the Library is closed on Sundays and Saturdays in the summer (July through Labor Day). Please keep this in mind when you reserve and need to pick up a pass.

You must print this library pass or display it on your phone, along with your reserved timed-entry tickets. Each pass provides up to four (4) people with $5 admission per person. Children under the age of 18 are always admitted for free. This library pass does not guarantee a reservation to the Museum. If you have any issues reserving your tickets, you can call the Gardner Museum's Box Office at 617-278-5156. 

When reserving Gardner Museum timed entry tickets online, you will:
1. Go to https:/tnew.gardnermuseum.org/events
2. Submit the library's promo code (MPP27293HG) in the box at the top of the screen.
3. Select the visit date and a time to enter.
4. Add desired number of tickets to the basket. The discount only works for up to 4 Adult priced tickets and any additional ticket will be normally priced (Children under 18 are always admitted for free and should be reserved as child tickets).
5. Login or create an account.
6. Finish checking out (discount is applied only at checkout).

   

This pass was purchased by the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library to honor the memory of Chris Christiansen, husband of Friends board member Amy Smith. Chris was a dedicated walker and loved hiking in Mass Audubon parks and reserves. We hope you enjoy them, too.

Pass admits 1 vehicle OR up to 4 people to a Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary. At some sanctuaries there is a $2 admission fee per visitor over the age of 2.

This pass must be picked up from the library. Most buildings & facilities are still closed, many bathrooms are open, but some are closed (check the sanctuary's webpage to find out). Some sanctuaries require reservations before visiting.       Multiple Destinations

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free. You do not need to call ahead to reserve a timed ticket. If you have questions or prefer to reserve in advance, you can call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily).

1. Your pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.
2. Please bring your library pass confirmation when you visit.
3. Stop at the Box Office when you arrive at the Museum to exchange your library pass and purchase your Exhibit Halls passes at the discounted rate.
4. If you are not able to show your Library confirmation on a phone, please request a paper copy of your confirmation at the library.

Redeem this coupon in the General Admission line at the Aquarium’s ticket booth for discounted admission for up to four people. Please visit neaq.org/coupons for details.
