Museum Passes are funded by the Friends of the Library

Admits up to 4 (adults or children) at half price per person.

After receiving a library discount pass, you must reserve a visit online with Boston Children’s Museum. Due to safety measures, walk-ins are not allowed. Museum capacity is limited at this time.

  1. Patrons must first acquire a dated library discount pass.
  2. Then visit https://www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org/ticketing
  3. Review the directions for timed tickets
  4. Click on the "Discount Programs" & drop down arrow
  5. Click on "Half Price Library Timed Ticket " to book
  6. NEW - Online reservations are required to visit PlaySpace.
  7. The date on the library discount pass must match the date of your visit.
  8. After arriving at the Museum, proceed to the admissions scanning station with your online reservation and the date specific library discount pass. If you have questions about the online ordering system, contact Orders@BostonChildrensMuseum.org.

This e-ticket is valid only for one day. You can either print it out and take it with you or display the pass on your phone or device. Either way, please be sure that the pass barcode is visible.

   

Hello Reader! Please refer to these guidelines when taking advantage of your library’s Heritage admission discount pass:

1. Obtain the discount code from the library.

2. Go to heritagemuseumsandgardens.org/tickets and select Daily Admissions Tickets

3. Select the day you would like to visit Heritage. Please note: this must be for the same day you reserved the pass from the library.

4. Input the number of tickets and click Update Cart. Upon checkout, please enter the code provided by the library in the Discount Code box and click Apply to receive 50% off our general admission prices ($22 adult; $12 youth) for up to two adults and four youth (3 - 17 years old) and children 2 and under are always free.

5. This discount code can only be used one time.

6. When you are done with your transaction, wait for a confirmation email that will include your e-tickets. Either print them out or have them available on your phone for entry.

  1. Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased online: https://www.icaboston.org.
  2. Click on “Buy Tickets” and select your chosen date for ICA General Museum Admission
  3. Click on “Library Pass Coupon” ticket price. Anyone 18 and under receive complimentary admission and should use the ticket price “Youth (0-12)” or “Youth (13-18)”
  4. Follow steps to complete order. Your ICA tickets will be emailed to you.
  5. When you arrive at the ICA, proceed to the visitor services desk with your tickets and your library pass. Please show this printed Library pass to the staff member at the Visitor Services desk.
  6. If you have questions about the online ordering system, contact visitorservices@icaboston.org.

The Museum recommends purchasing advance tickets online, however tickets can be arranged in person at the Visitor Services desk by showing this printed pass to the staff member. Hours and days of operation can be found on the website: https://www.icaboston.org/visit. Your ticket is valid for entry any time during the date selected. Please note: last entry to the museum is 20 minutes prior to closing time. Tickets are final sale.

   

Starting April 1, 2023 this will be an electronic pass.

The pass admits 4 adults at $5 per person. Children under 18 are always free and should be reserved as child tickets.

There is no discount for children 7–17 for general admission, currently $10. Children 6 and under are free. 

   

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free. Redeem this coupon in the General Admission line at the Aquarium’s ticket booth for discounted admission for up to four people. Advanced reservations are not required for library patrons with coupons. Please visit neaq.org/coupons for details. Review the Aquarium’s website at www.neaq.org/safety ahead of your visit to ensure a safe and accessible experience.
