Who can check out passes?
Any adult with a North Canton Public Library card in good standing.
What are the limitations?
Patrons may borrow a maximum of one pass at any given time.
Can I use my pass for special events?
No. Sorry, but the Community Exploration Program passes from the Library are not valid during special events.
How do I reserve a pass?
Select the days that you would like to reserve the pass. You may keep a pass for one week. You can reserve up to 30 days in advance.
How do I pick up and return a reserved pass?
The Akron Zoo, McKinley Museum, Akron Art Museum, and Akron Children’s Museum passes must be picked up at and returned to the Library’s Reference Desk (near the public computers and magazine area). DO NOT place passes in the book-drop. You must return the pass by the last day of the reservation period before the Library closes. You may return the pass early in your reservation period.
Please note: the Pro Football Hall of Fame passes will operate differently than the other passes. Upon reserving a pass, you may pick up the pass at the Library; however, you will not need to bring the Hall of Fame pass back to the Library once you have used it. Pro Football Hall of Fame passes will be kept by the box office at the Hall of Fame upon your family’s admission.
What if I need to cancel?
You may call the Library at 330.499.4712 x311. Because these passes are a newer service, we ask that you limit cancellations.
What are the fines?
Late fees will be incurred for theAkron Zoo, McKinley Museum, Akron Art Museum, and Akron Children’s Museum passes only. Late fees are $1 per day. Lost or damaged passes will be charged the full price of a pass.
