Reserve a pass below and present the pass confirmation to the partner organization on the date you've selected.

New Orleans Culture Pass Rules

Passes may be reserved by library cardholders online, in person, or by phone via a Library staff member
Passes are only valid for those who live in Orleans Parish and are age 18 and older. Passes are not valid for those with a temporary library card or cardholders from Jefferson or St. Bernard Parish.
Passes may be reserved by library cardholders no more than once per month per partner organization
Each pass is valid for one day
Multiple passes may not be reserved for the same day
Passes are only valid for the date of visit displayed on the pass confirmation
Printed or digital pass confirmations will be accepted for entry
Passes may not be exchanged, refunded, and are non-transferrable
Attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell passes will result in denied admittance
Neither the partner organization nor the New Orleans Public Library is responsible for unauthorized duplication, lost, or stolen passes
All partner organizations reserve the right to refuse entry to all pass holders

Admissions Update: The Library Culture Pass provides free entrance for up to 5 people during regular operating hours to the Audubon Aquarium. This pass does not include admission to the Insectarium.

Audubon Nature Institute is a New Orleans nonprofit operating the local zoo, aquarium, parks, and more. We are dedicated to preserving and celebrating nature.

Passes are not valid for after-hours events or ticketed special events. Pass is only valid for the confirmed date of visit and based on Audubon attraction availability limits. Present the pass at the venue for entry. Present the pass at the venue for entry where it will be redeemed for an admission ticket.

· The Museum is open six days a week 9:30am-3:30pm (Closed Tuesdays).

The Gallier House was designed and built as the personal residence of architect James Gallier Jr. and his family. Learn about the life of this middle-class family during the 1860s, including enslaved individuals and later domestic servants, and of the modern architectural amenities and Victorian-era decor in this National Historic Landmark.

· Library Pass provides free entry to the house for up to 2 adults + 4 children for general admission.

The Urban Enslavement Tour at Hermann-Grima House, looks at the experiences of those who were enslaved in an urban setting, how that differed from those enslaved in rural settings, and how the contributions of people of African descent have shaped New Orleans. Condé Nast Traveler voted it one of the best tours in New Orleans. In addition, the property’s 19th-century carriage house is home to the The Exchange Shop, originally founded in the 1881 by The Woman’s Exchange and one of the oldest women-led non-profits in the South.

This Library Culture Pass provides free entry to the house for up to 2 adults and 2 children for general admission. The Historic BK House & Gardens requires reservations for tours. Once you reserve a Historic BK House & Gardens Culture Pass, you must email Leah at leah@bkhouse.org to set up a tour time on the date you chose. Entry will not be granted without the Culture Pass confirmation email or printout. The House is open six days a week on Mondays – Saturdays from 10am – 3pm. Tours are every hour on the hour.

The BK Historic House and Gardens is a National Historic Landmark built in 1826 and restored to its present condition by renowned author Frances Parkinson Keyes beginning in 1948. An outstanding example of the raised cottage, it was designed by François Correjolles, who incorporated both Creole and American features in a well-detailed residence that remains largely in original condition. As the only example of its type open to the public, the museum offers a unique educational experience to visitors and furthers the understanding of New Orleans history.

A Culture Pass confirmation provides free entry for one patron to a designated LPO performance. To redeem, please present your Culture Pass confirmation at the Patron Services/Will Call desk at the performance. New Orleans Public Library cards will not be accepted as confirmation for entry. Performances begin at 7:30pm at the Orpheum Theater (129 Roosevelt Way). Please refer to our website for Frequently Asked Questions and Policies https://lpomusic.com/homepage/tickets-events/faq/. LPO Box Office and Patron Services is open Monday-Friday from 10AM to 4PM and can be reached at 504-523-6530 if you have any questions. For ADA and accessible seating, pass holders should contact Patron Services for arrangements.

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) is dedicated to maintaining live orchestral music and a full-scale symphonic orchestra as an integral part of the cultural and educational life of the New Orleans area, the entire state of Louisiana, and the Gulf South region. The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra’s mission is to transform people and communities through music. From intimate chamber music performances to exhilarating classics to dynamic pops presentations, the LPO produces a comprehensive spectrum of concert programming that balances boundary-pushing, exploratory repertoire with established masterworks. Our audiences hear, see, and feel the increased passion and enthusiasm that results from our musicians’ involvement in planning each performance.

· The pass includes Public Programs. The pass excludes ticketed special events.

· Present the pass via print out or phone to the front desk.

· Library Pass is good for one visit on the date reserved on this confirmation only. The last entry is at 4 PM.

The Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience explores the many ways that Jews in the American South influenced and were influenced by the distinct cultural heritage of their new homes. Through exhibits, collections and programs focused on the unique and remarkable history of Southern Jews, the Museum encourages new understanding and appreciation for identity, diversity, and acceptance. The Museum is open six days a week 10am-5pm (Closed Tuesdays). Closed New Year's Day, Mardi Gras, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

· Library Pass provides admission for 2 adults and 4 children under 18. Adults aged seventeen and older must accompany a group of children sixteen years of age and younger.

· All admission tickets are timed and are a first come first serve basis and based on availability. To redeem, please visit any Ticketing desk at the National WWII Museum with this confirmation to receive timed admission tickets. New Orleans Public Library cards will not be accepted for entry.

· The pass also includes museum entry to Beyond All Boundaries 4D Experience and other daily public programming. Beyond All Boundaries 4D Experience tickets are based on availability.

· Patron named on the Pass must be present to redeem. Please have your photo ID ready at check-in

· The National WWII Museum is open Monday-Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.

· The National WWII Museum is closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Mardi Gras Day.

· Library Pass is good for one visit on the date reserved on this confirmation only.

You must print or display this pass to National WWII Museum Visitor Services staff to redeem for passes. New Orleans Public Library cards will not be accepted for entry.

The historic New Canal Lighthouse at West End on Lakeshore Drive was severely damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation reconstructed the lighthouse, incorporating original wood from the 1890 lighthouse that stood on the site and now operates as LPBF's New Canal Lighthouse Museum and Education Center. The museum offers programs that focus on the history of the lighthouse, the ecology of the Pontchartrain Basin and the critical coastal issues we face today in South Louisiana. The museum has on display a Fresnel lens that was believed to have been in the lighthouse in the early 1900's. There are also displays depicting the history of the region and the lighthouse, the work of LPBF, recreational and commercial lake opportunities, and LPBF's plan to make our coast sustainable for the future.

Choose the date of your visit, ensuring it is the same date you've used to reserve the Culture Pass.
Enter Promo Code “CULPASS” at the top of the page. The “Culture Pass” ticket type will become available. Select the number of visitors from the dropdown next to Library Culture Pass and click on Purchase. Note: Pass provides free entry to the museum for two adults and children or grandchildren. You will see those tickets in your cart on the next screen. Click Checkout.
You may register for an account to better track repeat visits and see order history, or Continue as Guest. Both methods will ask for a billing address, even though there is no payment associated. You must enter an email to receive order confirmation, and your tickets will be held at the admission desk.

New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), the city’s oldest fine arts institution, opened on December 16, 1911, with only 9 works of art. Today, the museum hosts an impressive permanent collection of almost 40,000 objects, including French and American art, photography, glass, and African and Japanese works. The twelve-acre Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA is one of the most important sculpture installations in the United States, with over 90 sculptures.

Pass provides free museum entry for up to 2 adults and 7 children. The pass also includes museum entry to special Ogden programs such as Ogden After Hours, Art for Arts Sake, etc.

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art is home to the largest and most comprehensive collection of Southern art in the world. It is also home to the Center of Southern Craft and Design.

Pass is only valid for the confirmed date of visit.

Ogden Museum of Southern Art is requiring reservations for timed ticketing slots. However, the Ogden Museum Culture Pass cannot be used to make an online timed ticket reservation. It must be brought to visitor services at the Museum where it will be redeemed for a timed ticket slot on a first-come-first-served basis for the allotted amount of available tickets. Entry will not be granted without the Culture Pass confirmation email or printout.
