Pikes Peak Library District has partnered with local organizations to provide admission passes to Library patrons for increased opportunities for education that allows connection between books and hands-on experiences. Reserve and print a pass for the date you will visit the destination. Library customers may reserve each destination pass once every six months.

Please visit the Pikes Peak - America’s Mountain website to appropriately prepare for your trip.   Please be advised of health and weather concerns associated with the ascent to 14,115 feet in elevation prior to your trip.  Be prepared for the weather on the summit, as it's typically 30 degrees colder with varied weather up there than it is in Colorado Springs. Guests often encounter icy or slippery conditions from October - April. Use caution walking on icy sidewalks, trails, or rocks and take additional time when driving in these conditions. CAUTION: If you have a history of severe cardiac or respiratory problems, it is not recommended that you make the ascent to the summit. It is NOT recommended that infants under the age of 6 months make the ascent to the summit. The thinner air at the summit makes it difficult to breathe.
