Get free passes to the best of the Pikes Peak Region. All you need is your Library.

Pikes Peak Library District has partnered with local organizations to provide admission passes to Library patrons for increased opportunities for education that allows connection between books and hands-on experiences. Reserve and print a pass for the date you will visit the destination. Library customers may reserve each destination pass once every six months.

  • After you book your Culture Pass through the library, you do not need to contact the museum to set up your visit. On the day of your reservation, simply visit the Ticketing Desk upon arrival at the Museum and present your Culture Pass for entry. Digital confirmation of your reservation will be accepted.
  • The Museum encourages the purchase of separate Gates Planetarium, Infinity Theater or Temporary Exhibition tickets in advance. Please call 303.370.6306 to make reservations. Members receive discounted Infinity Theater tickets through May 31, 2023.
  • Current Temporary Exhibitions: “Apollo: When We Went to the Moon” is open and will require a separate ticket with an additional cost. Call 303.370.6306 to reserve your ticket with a member discount. “Unseen Oceans,” is also open and admission is included in your visit.

Museum Hours: Sunday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note from October 1 – April 30, the Museum is CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (with the exception of March 20 - 31, 2023 when the museum will be open seven days a week for spring break).

All admissions stop an hour before museum closing. Most guests usually spend an hour and a half to two hours in the museum. The museum will be closed Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23) and Christmas Day (Dec.25). Guests are encouraged to visit usopm.org to plan their visit and to ensure museum hours of operation have not been modified due to special events or inclement weather.
