New!  Print and Go Passes

  • Print & Go Passes are available for The Academy of Natural Sciences, Independence Seaport Museum, Lancaster Science Factory, Mütter Museum, and the Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center.

  • Passes are valid one time and only for the specific date reserved.

  • Print & Go passes my be reserved for any day the museum is open even if the library is closed.

Pick-up Passes

  • Reserve a pass for the date of pickup from Tredyffrin Public Library or from Paoli Library.

  • Passes check out for 3 days total (pickup day, one full day, return day).

  • Please return passes to the loaning library's circulation desk during library hours.

    • Paoli Library's passes must be picked up at and returned to the Paoli Library Circulation Desk.

    • Tredyffrin Public Library's passes must be picked up at and returned to Tredyffrin Public Library Circulation Desk.

  • Do not return passes in a bookdrop; please bring them in to the circulation desk.

  • The overdue fine is $25. Lost passes must be replaced at cost.

The Library Hotspot program allows library card holders to access high-speed Internet service anywhere a T-Mobile signal can be received.  Connect up to 10 devices at a time, including desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.  Perfect for those who need short term Internet access at home, are going on vacation, or taking their business on the road.  Library hotspots are not intended to replace home internet on an ongoing basis.  Library Hotspots reservations and checkouts are limited to 3 times every six weeks to allow fair use of this popular resource.

  • The penitentiary is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission includes “The Voices of Eastern State" Audio Tour, narrated by actor Steve Buscemi; Hands-On History interactive experiences; history exhibits; and a critically acclaimed series of artist installations.

This pass provides free general admission for two adults and five children and is valid only for the date printed on the pass. Additional charges will apply for entry to Butterflies! and special exhibits. Pass holders will also receive a 10% discount in the Academy Shop and Academy Café on the day of their visit.
