•Family museum passes are available to White Plains Public Library cardholders, over the age of 18 and in good standing (all extended use fees must be paid and overdue items returned).

• Reserve a pass for the day you will be picking the pass up.  The pass will be due one week from the pickup date.

•Patrons must present a valid library card when making a reservation at the Hub Desk.

•Passes must be returned to the Book Drop by the close of the Library on the due date. If the pass is returned to any other library a fee of $10 will be charged. The full cost of the pass will be charged to the patron if the pass is not returned within seven days of the due date. The cost of each pass varies and may be up to $500.

•A $10 fine will be assessed for any Museum Pass reserved but not picked up or cancelled 24 hours in advance.

•You can cancel a reservation online up until 24 hours before the reservation. Please contact the Reference Desk (422-1480) to cancel a reservation that is less than 24 hours away.

Hotspots can be checked out for 14 days.  The Library hotspot program allows White Plains library card holders to access unlimited, high-speed Internet service anywhere a Sprint Data signal can be received.  Connect up to ten devices at a time, including desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.  Perfect for those who have no Internet access at home, are going on vacation, or taking their business on the road. 

• Mobile HotSpots are available to White Plains Public Library cardholders over the age of 18 and in good standing (no outstanding extended use fees or overdue items).
• Each cardholder may only borrow one HotSpot at a time.
• HotSpots may be reserved up to 1 month in advance (online, at the Hub Desk, or by calling 422-1400).
• HotSpots are checked out for 14 days and cannot be renewed.
• HotSpot cases and all of their contents (the hotspot, charging adapter, and instructions) must be returned to the return drop box by the close of the Library on the due date.
• If the HotSpot is returned to any other library, a fee of $50 will be charged.
• If a HotSpot is returned without the proper charger, a $20 fee will be charged.
• If a HotSpot is returned without the case, a $20 fee will be charged.
• A fee of $50 per day will be charged if the HotSpot is late. The HotSpot will not function once the due date has passed. If a Hotspot is lost or damaged, the replacement fee is $100.
• IMPORTANT: Do NOT attempt to open the HotSpot. If the Hotspot has been tampered with, you may lose your privilege to check out HotSpots.
• A $10 fine will be assessed for any HotSpot reserved but not picked up or canceled at least 24hours before the pickup date.
