Reserve a Pass for the Date of Use
Museum passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance and are available to anyone with a valid Connecticut library card. Limit of one (1) pass per day per family and four (4) passes in a 30-day period.
PRINTABLE PASSES: Patrons may print passes for participating museums on demand (red "Request Pass" buttons). If you do not have access to a printer, please do not reserve a printable pass now. You will need to visit the library to reserve and print the pass.
RETURNABLE PASSES: Other passes must be checked out from the library using a library card and returned to the library (blue "Request Pass" buttons). These passes may be picked up the day before the scheduled visit. The loan period is two (2) days, and passes must be returned in person to the library's Lending Desk. The late fee for these returnable passes is $10/day, maximum $100. The charge for a lost returnable pass is $100.
While the calendar, below, incorporates museum schedules to the best of the library's knowledge,
it is recommended that you check the individual museum's web site calendar or call ahead prior to visiting
to be certain that the museum or the area of the museum you plan to visit will be open.
Especially given the current pandemic, many museums are limiting hours or closed at this time.
And many require online reservations using their websites.
