Museum Passes

Museum pass reservations now require a library card number and PIN.

If you don't currently have a PIN, create one by clicking here.

After creating your PIN, you will need to return to the library home page to reserve a pass.

  • Borrowers may use only one pass on any given day.
  • Please return passes immediately after use, in the pouch provided. Pouches may be left in the Book Drop.
  • Late passes accrue a fine of $2 per day. A lost pass will be subject to a replacement fee based on the indivdual museum.

  1. Patrons must first acquire a dated library discount pass.

  3. Review the directions for timed tickets
  4. Click on the "Discount Programs" & drop down arrow
  5. Click on "Half Price Library Timed Ticket " to book
  6. The date on the library discount coupon must match the date of your visit.
  7. After arriving at the Museum, proceed to the admissions scanning station with your online reservation and the date specific library discount coupon received from the Library. If you have questions about the online ordering system, contact Orders@BostonChildrensMuseum.org.

This e-ticket is valid only for one day. You can either print it out and take it with you or display the pass on your phone or device. Either way, please be sure that the pass barcode is visible.

   

One FREE admission per visit for each reservation. Pass MUST be picked up at the Library for admittance.

There are no paper passes. Patrons will be able to use the promo code in advance to reserve discounted general admission or exhibition tickets online. They will also be able to use the code on site to reserve same-day tickets, but must present an e-mail from the library with the code to receive the discount. They encourage everyone to reserve their tickets in advance, if possible. If you reserve online, use promo code: IP-4784 for discount.

Patrons who reserve tickets in advance online with the promo code will receive an e-mail with their admission ticket(s) attached and need to present their ticket(s) when they arrive at the Museum, preferably on a phone or device, but tickets printed on paper are accepted.

Each pass now allows admission for 2 adults at $10 each (general admission and special exhibition) and up to 4 children ages 7–17 at $10 each (special exhibition only). There is no discount for children 7–17 for general admission, currently $10.

The Seacoast Science Center is separate from Odiorne Point State Park. We cannot guarantee the library pass includes park admission.
