Welcome to the Scarsdale Public Library's museum pass reservation page.  The museum membership program is generously funded by the Friends of the Scarsdale Library. Passes are free and available to Scarsdale Library adult card holders in good standing.

  • Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance;
  • Passes may be reserved online or by calling the Reference Desk;
  • Click on "Request Pass" next to museum name to create a reservation; click on the museum name for links to the venue's website and for helpful booking information;
  • Print the confirmation sheet and bring to the Library when picking up the pass; 
  • Reserve a pass for the date you plan to visit the museum. A reservation blocks out 3 days. Passes can be picked up the day prior to the reservation and must be returned the day following the reservation;
  • If the pass is due on a day we are closed, it must be returned by 10 am the following morning;
  • Passes are collected from the Reference Desk and presented at the museum's entry desk. The card enables you to bypass the general public entry line and enter as a "member;" 
  • No more than three reservations per card can be made in a 30 day period. Only one copy of a specific pass can be checked out on a card at one time;
  • Passes must be returned to the Reference Desk.  Please do not put the pass in the book drop; 
  • There is a $10 fine for every day a pass is late or if the pass is returned to the book drop;
  • PLEASE CHECK THE SCARSDALE PUBLIC LIBRARY WEBSITE FOR CURRENT HOURS; DURING THE SUMMER, THE LIBRARY CLOSES ON SATURDAYS AT 1 PM AND IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS.

GUIDED HOUSE TOUR:

  •  The Manor House, which is home to the Live Animal Museum, is open Tuesday-Sunday,10am-4pm.

  • This is a carry-in/carry-out facility - whatever you carry onto the Nature Center grounds, you must carry out and dispose of once you get home.
  • All of the trails are unpaved nature trails, unsuitable for strollers and wheelchairs, so please wear appropriate shoes, watch where you walk and stay on the path.
  • Dogs are prohibited.
