Popular Fiction Book Club will be reading Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts and discussing it virtually from Deb's Den. Kids ages 3 and up are invited to join us for a fun afternoon with Mr. Vinny (from the Toe Jam Puppet Band) as he puts on his unique Shadow Puppet Puppet Show! Captivating, interactive and silly, kids will get a kick out of Mr. Vinny's stories told using an old-school projector. There might even be a chance to play a round or two of "Guess that Shadow"! This is a great event with a cozy campfire-feel to it. Registration is required and begins on Tuesday, November 28th. This program is funded by the Friends of the Library.

Toddler Time is a 20-minute program consisting of short stories, songs, scarf waving, egg shaking, and a puppet visit. This program is best suited for children ages 0-3. Monday Drop-In Toddler Time is on any Monday we are open. Our Toddler Times are funded by the Friends of the Library.

Bedtime Story Hour continues this fall at the library! Kids ages 4 and up, who are able to separate from their parent/caregiver are invited to wear their coziest PJs, bring a stuffed animal friend, and join Miss Amy every Monday night at 6:30 PM.  Bedtime Story Hour is thirty minutes of longer stories, songs, rhymes, and the chance to "Go Bananas!" The Fall session of Bedtime Story Hour will run from September 11th-December 18th. Our Story Hour programs are funded by the Friends of the Library.

Are you ready to have some fun?  Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are welcome to join Miss Heidi for 45 minutes of free play, stories, songs and activities.  (Siblings are welcome.)  This is a registered 5-week session, but you are welcome to call and see about space availablity if you are not registered.  

Are you a teen or adult who wants to make a paper snowflake? We will be opening up the Copeland Room for some adult creativity in the form of snowflake making. Stop in during the evening as you can and learn the basic or advanced snowflake. Please let us know if you are planning on attending so we can have supplies ready. 

It's time for our annual snowflake workshop! Kids in grades 1 and up are invited to come learn how to construct a life-size 3-D snowflake. These crafts make fantastic decorations all year long! Registration is required and begins on Tuesday, November 28th. Our craft programs are funded by the Friends of the Library.

We are pleased to be able to offer Family Story Hours on Saturdays this fall. While many will be lead by Miss Kim don't be surprised to see Miss Amy, Miss Sandy, Mrs. Grimmett, or Miss Heidi in the mix. We try to gear this time to the people who are there so besides some stories there may be songs, scarves, egg shakers or some Go Bananas.
