It doesn't matter if you are 8 or 80.  There is something magical and freeing about snapping those Lego bricks together to create something new, so cast your work and worries aside for an hour and join us for some building time. We will also have some larger Duplo blocks available for our younger friends who might not be Lego-ready yet.  Families and family-like groups of ALL ages are welcome to attend.  Challenge a neighbor!  Bring a friend!  Declare a Lego War!
(This is not just for children but all children must be accompanied by an adult.)  Registration is appreciated but drop-ins are welcome!

Students in grades 6 and up are welcome to this once a month after-school hangout which includes games, doodling, a whole lot of conversation and , yes, cookies. Hangouts will be on the last Tuesday of each month unless noted otherwise.  Interested?  See Miss Heidi or swing by the Children's Room to be put on the official hangout list.  You can drop by or bring a friend to the hangout, but if you want cookies, you have to be on the list.  We don't share that easily.

Teen Advisory Board

The first Tuesday of the month means it's time for a meeting of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) here at the APL. What is TAB? It's a group of teens in grades 6-12 who get together once a month to discuss the goings-on at the library! Interested in becoming a member? Stop by the library to grab a registration form at the front desk! Our Teen Advisory Board meetings are funded by the Friends of the Library.
