IMAGINE YOUR STORY READ-ALOUD (VIA ZOOM)

Imagine Your Story Read-Aloud is a new AML Summer Reading Program for 2020, presented on Zoom by Children’s Librarian Clare Seaton.

Join Clare as she reads aloud to you from fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world.

HOW TO USE ADOBE SKETCH APP FOR IPHONE OR IPAD- ASIAN ART CLASS (VIA ZOOM)

Ever seen panda, bamboo, waterlily or an old temple painted or drawn digitally? Would you like to learn how to create art like that? 

Register to join us for a fun art workshop for students who want to explore the fundamentals of digital drawing and painting. Ms. Hongbing Tang, an award-winning artist and college faculty member, will guide students through step-by-step instructions on how to draw and paint Asian theme art digitally.

Students will learn to use Adobe Sketch - a free app to create digital art on iPad or iPhone. 

  • STUDENTS MUST HAVE THE USE OF AN IPHONE OR IPAD TO PARTICIPATE. A regular stylus pen is also recommended for this class.

  • Participants should download the Adobe Sketch app from Apple Store before the class. 

  • A reference image and special digital brush will be provided to registered students by email. 

  • The class will be held online. A Zoom meeting link for ADOBE SKETCH FOR IPHONE OR IPAD ASIAN ART CLASS  will be sent to students before class.

  • This program is sponsored by Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council and The Friends of the Acton Libraries.
