Explore Newton's Laws of motion with Film Canister Rockets! Registration for materials is required for each experiment you would like to try, limited quantities are available and will be reserved for those who have registered.  Once your registration has been confirmed, library staff will work with participants to set up a time to pick up their activity kit. STEAM kits can be picked up at the library Monday-Saturday during the week the activity is featured. 

To register for a  materials kit, please email attleborokids@sailsinc.org or call 508-222-7820 during the week of November 20. The last day to register and schedule a pick up time for these materials will be Friday November 24.

For children ages birth-5 years & their adult

Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. This is a 6-week group and families must commit to coming for each of the 6 weeks.  Families that complete the 6 weeks will be given books and a free tote bag. Space is limited so please register if you would like to participate in this 6-week series.

This program is sponsored by the Massachusetts Center for the Book. 

Monthly meeting of the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life of Greater Attleboro to prepare for the annual Relay for Life to take place in early June of 2024 at Norton High School.

For families of all ages

Join Attleboro Industrial Museum Director, Victoria Antonucci for stories about inventing!  We will read some fun stories about kid inventors & then assemble a keychain to keep!  This program is part of Attleboro's 1 ABC passport program for kids in grades 1-4, so don't forget to bring your passport to be stamped!  Registration is requested, but not required.

Regular monthly meeting of the Attleboro Cultural Council, to discuss grant business and cultural opportunities in Attleboro.

After a long hiatus, the Yarn Lovers Support Group is back! Are you a crafty person looking for like-minded crafty folks to chat, share projects, and get feedback? Then join us at the APL for the Yarn Lovers Support Group. Registration encouraged for planning purposes, but feel free to just drop in with your favorite project and share what you've been up to in the last few years.

This training is open to teens who have gone through the application process for the library's teen volunteer program. By invitation only.

For kids in grades 1-4

Did you adopt a Reading Buddy last April?  This program is for you!  We will be reading a Choose Your Own Adventure book with our Reading Buddies!  Choose Your Own Adventure books are interactive stories where the reader can decide the outcome of the story.  During the reading, participants will vote to decide the fate of the book characters.  Don't have a Reading Buddy yet? Come into the Children’s Room & find out more!  Space is limited so registration is required.
