Interested in being kind and earning community service credits?

1. Using art, thank a Veteran - Design a plaque to thank Veterans - Thanking Our Veterans Video

2. Using art create a special card for a Hospitalized Kid - Create your own special card to cheer up a sick child. This video link will show you the different ways you can decorate your card. 

To register, send an email to teens@baldwinpl.org.  We will get in touch with you to pick up your kit at the main entrance doors of the library. 

You will receive an email to pick up your kit and further instructions. A link will be emailed to participants and on our website with instructions on how to decorate your plaque.  You will receive community service credit for your kindness.

Ages 4 - Kindergarten with the assistance of a parent/caregiver.

Jane Austen’s final novel revolves around Anne Elliot and her family, including her father, Sir Walter, who is a member of the minor aristocracy. Years earlier, Anne, who is dangerously close to being considered an old maid, was persuaded by her overly class-conscious family to reject the proposal of a young naval officer with little prospects. He is now successful Captain Wentworth, who is still bitter towards Anne and her family. When Wentworth and Anne cross paths through shared social circles, Anne realizes she has never stopped loving him.
