ONLINE PROGRAM : Virtual Dance Party
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Get ready to dance! Miss Martha invites families to join her on Zoom for a music & movement storytime party! This interactive program will include children's music, singing songs, reading books and dancing of course! 

Families attending the Zoom chats will be asked, but not required to keep their video and microphones turned on so we can all see and interact with each other. Click here for more information about using Zoom to attend library programs.

Bring a Blanket Storytime @ Hall
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM

We're piloting an in-person, outdoor storytime program at William Hall Library! This 8-week storytime will be limited to pre-registered households and will be best suited to children ages 3-5 though younger and older siblings are welcome to attend. All attendees will be assigned a spot on the front lawn (bring a blanket for comfort and an umbrella for shade!) and will be asked to keep their physical distance from other participants. All adult attendees and children over 2 years of age must wear a mask for the duration of the program. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held virtually on the library's Facebook page with no option to move indoors.

Children in Grades K-5: Preserve your memories from the past historic year in your very own time capsule!  Each registered participant will receive a kit with supplies to make a special Covid-19 time capsule.  A new activity will be posted to the library's Facebook page every Monday at 4:00 PM.

  I Survived Trivia Challenge Club ~  Have you read the I Survived series where kids survive against all odds?  Then join us on Tuesdays, April 20 through May 25 and match your wits against your peers.  You can check out copies of the books we will discuss when you pick up your kit. Learn about the art of movie-making, then let your imagination run wild in this film club for kids in Grades K-5! Every week we will gather on Zoom to watch and discuss a variety of short films from the silent era to today. Each registered household will receive a kit containing a blank backdrop and puppet characters to customize and use as characters to tell your own stories.

Kids Reading Across Rhode Island Book Discussion
