Every week is a new adventure in this live storytime full of songs and rhymes and journeys to magical places! This storytime is geared toward children ages 3-5. Follow us on Facebook to participate.

If you've ever wondered what you might learn at a school for wizards, join us for an imaginary class on a magical subject. Cranston Librarians, acting as your Magical Academy Professors, will share some literature and a fantastic activity on the library's Facebook page. This program is recommended for grades K-5.  

Join Miss Martha from Auburn Library to read about a different imaginary creature each week! She will share live stories, songs and more! Visit Cranston Public Library's Facebook page to participate.  

Pick up a free delicious and nutritious meal at the library between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Grab and go vegetarian bagged lunches are available for young people under 18 years old through the library's partnership with Aramark and the school department. Quantities are limited, first come first serve!

Add some magic to your bedtime routine! Youth Services Librarians will read a perfect bedtime story every Tuesday night this summer. Follow us on Facebook to participate.

Families are invited to watch and listen to storyteller Diane Edgecomb perform live on Zoom, with a friendly children's librarian as host. You may keep your video and microphone turned off, or turn them on to ask questions and interact with the storyteller. Click here for more information about using Zoom to attend library programs. This program is recommended for children in grades K-5.

Our August title is Changeling by William Ritter, the first in The Oddmire series and this year's Kids Reading Across RI title. Kids who sign up below can pick up a free copy in the Children's Room, or you may request a copy to check out at https://catalog.oslri.net/. The ebook and audiobook are also available on Overdrive but there may be a waitiling list.
