ONLINE PROGRAM: Spring into STEM Storytime

ONLINE PROGRAM: Winter Window Decorating

Even though we're stuck inside, we can still have fun!  Learn how to decorate your windows at home in this program intended for children in Grades K-5.  Each registered participant will receive a kit with supplies to make winter crafts and decorations.  A new activity will be posted to the library's Facebook Page every Monday at 4:00 PM.

Online Program: Fantastic Book Club

Children in Grades 3 to 6 are invited to join The Fantastic Book Club - Virtual Edition, live on Zoom. Each month we'll read a book of "Tails and Tales". This month's book is Newbery Award winner, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien. Limited copies of the title will be available for checkout at the Children's Service Desk. Plan to read the book before the meeting so you can take part in a lively virtual discussion.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Come join your child on their journey to independent reading.  Help your child gain confidence, fluency, and independence in their reading by pairing up to read and learn about some fun emergent readers. This program takes place on Zoom.  

Register here: https://forms.gle/nAKY6EAJDJhwvX5NA to receive the Zoom link for this program.  First twelve registered will receive a tote with free books in addition to craft supplies.  

We’ll take Picture Walks.  That means will talk about how the illustrations help us understand a certain word or sentence

We’ll do Echo Reading.  That means everyone together repeats back what has been modeled.

We’ll do Choral Reading.  That means we are all participating together and no one person is reading alone.

Explore the great outdoors in this weekly nature walk program intended for children in Grades K-5. Each registered participant will receive a kit with the tools to enable them to go on outdoor adventures with the eye of a true explorer. A new adventure will be added to the library's Facebook Page every Thursday at 4PM, in addition to two Zoom meetings on weeks 3 and 6 of the program participants can share stories and show off any treasures they collected on their walks.
