Effective Leadership Styles for Athletic Coaches

Dr. Matthew Raibard, author of Lead like a Pro discusses his book which is designed to teach athletic coaches at all levels of sports, about leadership practice, and help them to become more intentional and effective leaders for their athletes and teams. He discusses the importance of coaches viewing themselves as leaders and learning about leadership practice. This is particularly important for youth sport coaches who are often volunteers and may not have much coaching or leadership experience.

This program is presented by the East Longmeadow Library and the Recreation Department. It will take place in the Auditorium at the Pleasant View Senior Center, 328 North Main Street.

More information on Dr. Raibard can be found at https://www.raidbardleadership.com/
