Set in the Vienna-like city of Utopia, H. K. Breslauer’s The City Without Jews (Die Stadt ohne Juden) (1924) follows the political and personal consequences of an anti-Semitic law to expel the city’s Jews. When things start to decline, the National Assembly must decide whether to invite the Jews back. The film’s stinging critique of Nazism is part of the reason it was no longer screened in public after 1933. Restored by Filmarchiv Austria. Because, more than anything, flawed Charlie longs for communication and reconnection. He hasn't spoken to his estranged, angry teenage daughter Ellie in years. Teen Tank-A Shark Tank Themed Business Program for Teens!-Grades 6-12

Are you ready to launch your own startup or product?

In this workshop, our Business Instructors will show you how to pitch an idea in front of investors... just like they do in Shark tank! Teens will work individually or in teams with other aspiring student entrepreneurs to brainstorm a business idea and create a pitch for it.

This is a great opportunity to learn some important foundational skills in starting a business!

Armed with their business plans, teens will make their pitches to a group of judges asking for “investments” in their budding businesses.

This program is on Monday July 10th and Monday, July 17th. Please plan to attend both sessions.
