If you were fortunate enough to see Gerald Dickens in A Christmas Carol last year, you understand what an extraordinary even this is. We are so privileged that Gerald has agreed to include us into his tour schedule. Gerald Dickens first performed his solo version of A Christmas Carol in America in 1993. This tour is now an annual event with Gerald performing throughout the country garnering national and local press. Based on the readings performed by Charles Dickens himself during his own British and American tours, Gerald Dickens performs one-man theatrical adaptations of Great Expectations, Nicholas Nickleby, A Tale of Two Cities and A Christmas Carol, in the latter creating 26 characters in a performance described by The New York Times as "a once in a lifetime brush with literary history."

Perfect music to relieve holiday season angst and to remind us all of the season’s joy. Christopher Morrongiello is proof positive that Long Island is a hot-bed of extraordinary talent. He is a graduate of the Mannes College of Music, the Royal College of Music, and the University of Oxford. (And, he is really smart!)

In 1993 he was a prizewinner in the BBC Radio 2 Young Musician of the Year Competition and in 1996 he was awarded a Marco Fodella Foundation Scholarship for studies in Milan. Currently, he is completing a doctoral thesis at Oxford about Elizabethan and Jacobean lute music. Christopher has toured and recorded with some of Europe’s finest early music groups and performers, including soprano Emily Van Evera, the Taverner Consort, and the Dowland Consort

As soon as we reopened we received many calls, and some visits, asking us to have a day when folks can come and play Mah Jongg, Bridge, Scrabble, Chess, or any other game you like. We will have tables set up in the Makerspace downstairs. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis.

We ask that all attendees please follow CDC protocol.
