When Jodi’s restauranteur daughter asks her to watch Macallan in the Berkshires while she takes care of some business out of town, Jodi can’t say yes fast enough. But when Jodi

As the competition for Macallan’s attention among the three “grandmas” increases, Lisa drops a bomb about her life that changes everything. Gerald Dickens Performance
Sunday, October 27 at 2 p.m.
Registration opens on Monday, October 14 at 9 a.m.
Gerald Dickens, the actor and great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens,
returns to East Meadow for a one man show, performing two of the author’s most macabre readings, “Sikes and Nancy” and “The Tale of Captain Murderer.”
Gerald Dickens performance of Sikes and Nancy is Victorian theatre at its most dramatic. Throughout the 1860s Charles Dickens gave a series of readings from his novels and his repertoire featured performances that involved safe, well-known, and often comic passages from his novels, but in 1869 he introduced Sikes and Nancy to his program. When Dickens performed what he called The Murder he judged the success of the evening by the number of ladies who had fainted with horror. Today it has lost none of its horrific power.
“Sikes and Nancy” performance is taken from a scene out of Oliver Twist, and “Captain Murderer” is based on Charles Dickens Short Story of the same name.
Gerald Dickens will be back on December 8th to perform
A Christmas Carol. Join us for an afternoon you will not soon forget.

Real Life (1979)
Monday, October 28 at 7 p.m.
Registration opens on Monday, October 14 at 9 a.m.
Real Life was Albert Brooks’ directorial debut. In total, he would only direct seven feature films. While his films Defending Your Life, Modern Romance, and Mother are more widely renowned, Real Life is truly a trendsetting masterpiece.
The mockumentary movie may be fading from the monoculture, but Real Life still resonates nearly 50 years after its release. Characters in the movie are constantly acknowledging the cameras existence, staring through the lens like they’re addressing the audience at every turn. It even has Charles Grodin giving the best Michael Scott impersonation at the dinner table on the first night of filming, well before Michael Scott was even conceptualized.
Rated: PG Running Time: 1 hour 39 minutes
