THE FIVE PARTS OF COMMUNICATING BETTER WITH DOCTORS

THE FIVE PARTS OF COMMUNICATING BETTER WITH DOCTORS Presented by Dana E. Sherwin, Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives  (In-person)
Wednesday, May 22 at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.
Rescheduled from March.
Registration begins on Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m.

This is a particularly important program for everyone. We are all patients, whether we are sick or well. Not all the time, but at least for the important health-related times in our life. Some of us see doctors more frequently for a variety of reasons. Communicating with doctors is not easy. No one teaches you this. People usually learn the hard way or not at all. At the heart of your relationship with a doctor is communication. The ability to communicate and work in partnership with your doctor is crucial for your health and well-being.

There are 97 spaces available.

Life on the Mississippi:
An Epic American Adventure by Rinker Buck

Tuesday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m.

An enchanting blend of history and adventure in which Buck builds a wooden flatboat based on those from the grand “flatboat era” of the 1800s and sails it down the Mississippi River.  This nonfiction book

We look forward to seeing you this summer and remember,
adventure really does begin at your library.

*A full list of events and rules for participating in the program will be available online or in the registration folder.
