Game Day for Adults at EMPL (In-person)

Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In the downstairs Makerspace.

As soon as we reopened we received many calls, and some visits, asking us to have a day when folks can come and play Mah Jongg, Bridge, Scrabble, Chess, or any other game you like. We will have tables set up in the Makerspace downstairs. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis.

We ask that all attendees please follow CDC protocol.

by reviving memories of a “bygone era” and restoring one’s faith in the power of music. Her genre ranges from Sinatra to Santana, to 70’s rock, classic soul, Broadway, and singing in foreign languages. She has performed in NY at the Apollo, Metropolitan Room, and the University Club just to name a few. On Long Island, she was a staple at the Cinema Arts, Carlton, and Terme. Huntington Arts Council awarded her a concert in Heckscher Park.

The Defensive Driving Course is for licensed drivers of all ages.  This class is more readily available than the AARP class, and will give you the same insurance reduction.  All drivers are eligible regardless of violation or accident record including assigned risks, persons under 25, senior citizens, commercial vehicle and motorcycle operators.  The main focus of this class is:   1) SAVE LIVES,  2) REDUCE INJURY,  
3) MAKE YOU A BETTER DRIVER. Classes will be held at the East Meadow Library.

Fee includes all course material and DMV certification. Class size will be limited. Current CDC guidelines will be followed. 
All registration forms and checks are to be sent directly to the course instructor

We ask that all attendees please follow CDC protocol.
